It’s terribly hard in this world for a tiger without stripes - but sometimes special hardships lead to special friendships. You can buy a print of this here, should it please you: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/jaimie-whitbread.html
A few days ago I drove out to the park only to have it start raining when I got there. I hadn’t thought to bring an umbrella, because, you know, it’s July.
The weather lately has been ridiculously nice for July.
I feel like I’m getting a bit faster at capturing the essence of a scene - which is good because it’s getting hotter outside, and I start sweating after the first five minutes.
More sketches from the park. It’s really getting too hot, but it’s hard to stay cooped up all day.
More warm-up studies from around my room. I’m gonna pretend that all that junk was set up as a still life and not actually just the accumulated clutter of someone who never finds time to clean up |3
More lovely trees from my local park. It is, remarkably, still cool enough to enjoy sitting outside despite being July in Texas.
Happy birthday, America! I made you some birthday snacks. However, it occurs to me that as an incorporeal aggregate of united people, you will not be able to eat them. My bad.
There’s a banana spider that’s made a home in my flower box. It’s been raining lately, so he’s had to remake his web quite a few times - it’s fun to watch.
More daily paintings. More personal fanart of my cat.
